Tax Manager – Fast Track to Partner | Collaborative, Fun, and High-Growth CPA Firm (Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ)
Salary: $120,000 - $170,000 per year

- Key
Responsibilities and Duties:- Prepare, review, and analyze individual and business tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065)
- Compute taxes owed and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Lead and mentor staff accountants and manage engagement workflows
- Oversee client relationships and provide strategic advice and tax planning
- Conduct tax research on complex issues and communicate findings to clients
- Identify value-add opportunities and cross-selling potential across firm services
- Participate in networking and business development efforts
- Stay current on changes in tax law and regulatory updates
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professional development, and continuous learning
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (required)
- Master’s in Taxation (preferred)
- CPA or EA License
- 7–15 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax preparation, review, and planning
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex engagements and mentor staff
- Proficiency with tax software (Ultra Tax, Go File Room , BNA, RIA) and MS Office
- Proven leadership skills and interest in fast-tracking to partner
- Strong client service, analytical, and communication skills
