AP Specialist

Vaco Phoenix is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for a top client in Phoenix!

This is a permanent, hybrid opportunity offering up to $65,000 annually. It’s a great role for someone looking to grow long-term with a stable and expanding company.

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Review, code, and match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate AP records and ensure proper documentation
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries
• Assist with month-end close and reporting as needed
• Support process improvements within the AP function

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience
• Strong understanding of AP processes and general accounting principles
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
