Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP. The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
• Assist with AP and AR processes as needed
• Support fixed assets, depreciation
• Prepare financial reports and schedules for management and auditors
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accurate financial reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (industry or public accounting)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Net Suite, Sage, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
