Project Accountant

An established, vertically integrated real estate development firm focused on mission-critical digital infrastructure is seeking a Project Accountant to support active data center development projects. This role partners closely with Development and Finance and is responsible for full-cycle project accounting across multiple large-scale construction initiatives.

• Perform full-cycle accounting for up to three active construction projects
• Review contractor invoices for accuracy, coding, and compliance
• Track job costs, commitments, and accruals by WBS
• Prepare loan draw support schedules and assist with lender submissions
• Support month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Produce project-level financial statements and management reporting
• Partner with Development to understand budgets, forecasts, and timelines
• Assist with interim, quarterly, and annual audits, tax support, and lender reporting
• Collaborate with shared services A/P and Treasury teams as needed
• Support process improvements, system enhancements, and internal controls

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of real estate construction or development accounting experience
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
