Staff Accountant

A fast-growing, multi-entity consumer products organization is adding a Staff Accountant to its accounting team.

This role is an experienced staff accountant who can own full-cycle accounting responsibilities, partner cross-functionally, and support financial operations across multiple business units including general ledger, intercompany accounting, banking activity, and financial reporting.

This is a full time in-office position.

• 4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Backgrounds in accounting operations such as AP, AR, payroll, or staff accounting with expanded responsibilities are welcome
• Strong full-cycle accounting knowledge
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Quick Books (required)
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-entity environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transaction activity

• Perform and review journal entries, accruals, and month-end close activities
• Manage daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes (reviewing work rather than performing all transactional tasks)
• Support preparation and review of profit and loss statements and financial reports
• Handle intercompany transactions and expense allocations
• Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation
• Maintain payroll, benefits accounting, and 1099 reporting support
• Ensure accurate general ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support accounting compliance and documentation standards
