Vaco Arizona is hiring a Project Accounting & Billing Specialist for a top client in Scottsdale. This is a direct hire, onsite opportunity paying up to $70,000 annually. This role is ideal for someone with construction accounting experience who is detail-oriented and comfortable managing both billing and compliance processes.
Responsibilities- Process vendor invoices and manage AP inbox
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate vendor and client records
- Prepare progress billings based on SOV and contracts
- Work with Project Managers to track and reconcile project costs
- Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end close
- Collect and manage subcontractor documents (W-9s, insurance, etc.)
- Track and process lien waivers
- Ensure all documentation meets compliance requirements
- Experience with AIA billing
- 2+ years of construction accounting and/or billing (AR) experience
- Proficiency with Quick Books
