Part Time Accounting Specialist​/Bookkeeper

Vaco is partnering with a top client based in Phoenix, AZ, to find a part‑time Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper to join their team. The Bookkeeper will handle all accounting transactions as well as banking and taxes. This contract‑to‑hire position is full onsite and 20 hours per week, paying up to $36 per hour.

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions (income, expenses, invoices, receipts).
• Reconcile bank and credit accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with budgeting, cash‑flow tracking, and basic payroll tasks.

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficient in Quick Books

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The base pay for this position is up to $36 per hour. The employee may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and participates in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
