The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing high-volume vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and supporting the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
* High-volume processing of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Three way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation for accuracy and compliance
* Review invoices for proper approval, coding, and compliance
* Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
* Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records
* Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice and payment inquiries
* Perform additional accounting or administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required;
* 2+ years of recent accounts payable experience
* Strong data entry and 10-Key skills with a high level of accuracy
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Experience with accounting or ERP system
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
