Job Description

LHH is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our client’s accounting department. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, enjoys working with numbers, and has a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain and organize financial records, documents, and files.
  • Assist in the preparation of invoices and processing of payments.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed by the accounting team.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Quick Books).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
