Cash Application Specialist

This Cash Application Specialist role is responsible for accurately applying high volumes of customer payments across multiple channels (check, ACH/EFT, wire, credit card) to open invoices and AR balances. The position plays a key role in maintaining cash flow by researching and resolving payment discrepancies, managing unapplied cash, and collaborating cross-functionally with AR, Collections, Sales, and Project teams to ensure accounts are properly reconciled and up to date.

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus)
• 2+ years of experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or accounting
• Experience handling high-volume payment processing
• Strong attention to detail with ability to research and resolve discrepancies
• Proficient in Excel and working within ERP/accounting systems

• Familiarity with lien releases, billing schedules, and construction contracts
• Construction industry experience
