Job Details

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and process Federal and State tax compliance reports
• Prepare individual and entity tax returns including 1040s, S-Corps, and Partnerships
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Perform bookkeeping duties including payroll and account reconciliations
• Assist in audits as needed
• Manage a full schedule and meet strict deadlines consistently
• Follow firm protocols around file management and client confidentiality
• Accurately input data, schedule tasks, and verify completion
• Work regularly in Microsoft Office, Quick Books Online and Desktop, and CCH software

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Minimum 5 years of tax preparation experience with individual, S-Corp, and Partnership returns
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and Tax Basis Accounting, including Cash and Accrual methods
• Proficiency in Quick Books Online and Desktop, CCH software, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong client relationship and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational discipline
