• Accounts Payable Specialist
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for collecting, processing, and maintaining all accounts payable records for all company markets. The role ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices, research of vendor discrepancies, and maintains records for all AP transactions.
Responsibilities- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Research vendor statements and contact vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Process uploads and wire entries for large volume vendors.
- Oversee workflows to ensure timely processing of invoices, working with department heads/market teams.
- Act as a liaison between corporate accounting and various vendors, markets, and associates.
- Maintain records for all accounts payable transactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Knowledge and use of Yardi property management software preferred.
- Advanced working knowledge of email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and accounting software systems.
- Ability to perform mathematical and accounting functions.
- Ability to follow and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization.
- Organized and flexible with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to make quick and effective decisions, analyze and resolve problems, set and meet goals, and maintain confidentiality.
Hybrid work schedule – at least 4 days per week required in the office. Overtime may be required.
Salary Range$17.90 - $31.03 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Compensation within the range will depend on the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
