Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and reported in a timely manner.
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports, identifying trends and providing insights to management.
  • Maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet analysis.
  • Providing cost analysis support to other departments, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Providing support for internal and external audits, and implementing any necessary corrective actions.
  • Working closely with other departments to improve financial procedures, reduce costs, and enhance efficiencies.
  • Training and mentoring junior accounting staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven expertise in month-end close procedures, financial reporting, general ledger management, and cost accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
