Hybrid Accounting Specialist (Contractor) – Phoenix, AZ – Post Date: 16 June 2026 – Reference: 1008146
Role OverviewAccounting Specialist (Contractor) supporting high-volume AP operations, focused on invoice processing and supplier account maintenance. Role is designed to support transaction accuracy, reconciliation, and research in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Core Responsibilities- Process high-volume invoices with strong attention to accuracy and coding requirements.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and discrepancy research.
- Maintain and validate financial data and documentation within ERP systems.
- Investigate and resolve invoice or payment issues in coordination with internal teams and vendors.
- Support data entry, reporting, and accounting workflow coordination across systems.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience with high-volume invoice processing and accounts payable workflows.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage accuracy-critical financial data.
- Experience with supplier statement reconciliation and issue research.
- Self-motivated with ability to manage workload in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with ERP systems such as People Soft (not timesheets) or Oracle Cloud.
- Background in full-cycle AP, vendor management, or multi-entity environments (based on resume patterns).
- Exposure to Excel-based reporting, data validation, and reconciliations.
