Night Auditor

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor will be responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions, reviewing, organizing, and compiling reports for management, and ensuring the accurate posting of revenue and expenses.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.

• Verify and balance entries and records of financial transactions reported by various hotel departments during the day.
• Compile financial information, prepare and generate reports detailing cash transactions, expenditures, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Ensure the accurate posting of revenues and expenses in the hotel's system.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints during the night shift.
• Assist with the check-in and check-out processes for guests.
• Collaborate with the daytime staff to ensure a smooth transition of operations.
• Complete all end-of-day procedures and generate the next day's reports.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
