Salary Range: $18.00 – $23.50 per hour
Responsibilities- Reconcile multiple bank and investment account statements.
- Review and confirm accounts payable invoices, enter into the accounting system and prepare payment letters for trustee signature.
- Coordinate payment activities with administrative support, account managers, banks, trustees and vendors.
- Process refunds, voids, canceled and stop payments in coordination with the claims and pension teams and the related banks.
- Create fund financials, including income statements, balance sheets and related supporting schedules.
- Maintain Trust fund files and records.
- Work cooperatively and professionally with other team members, account managers, administrative support, management and auditors.
- Actively participate in team meetings and training activities.
- Perform additional responsibilities and projects as periodically assigned.
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
Skills/Abilities:
- Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
- Strong mathematical skills required.
- Minimum 40 WPM and 7,000 KPH proficiency.
- Solid expertise in MS Excel & MS Word (i.e., pivot tables and lookup functions).
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers, verbally and in writing.
- Strong dedication to follow-through on all tasks and assignments.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple to moderately complex instructions and correspondence.
- Ability to work independently, organize, set priorities, and complete multiple projects/tasks within established deadlines.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time operating a computer.
