Our rapidly expanding manufacturing company is in search of an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This position requires a high level of financial acumen, a strong understanding of business operations, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the month‑end close process, preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, providing cost analysis support, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, supporting internal and external audits, improving financial procedures, and training junior accounting staff.

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 per year

Responsibilities

Oversee the month‑end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and reported in a timely manner.

Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, identify trends, and provide insights to management.

Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet analysis.

Provide cost analysis support to other departments and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Support internal and external audits and implement any necessary corrective actions.

Work closely with other departments to improve financial procedures, reduce costs, and enhance efficiencies.

Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; a Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Proven expertise in month‑end close procedures, financial reporting, general ledger management, and cost accounting.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
