Project Accountant

• Perform accounting duties throughout the project lifecycle, including job setup, preparing customer invoices, issuing purchase orders to subcontractors, and posting costs to jobs
• Prepare and review monthly job cost reports, reclassifying charges and invoices as needed for project management
• Collaborate with project managers to update job forecasting
• Prepare monthly work-in-progress (WIP) reports for management
• Manage certified payroll reporting
• Support project billing, including issuing AIA billings, tracking payments, and managing change orders
• Participate in project meetings, providing accounting insights and guidance

• BA in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent construction accounting experience
• 2+ years experience as a project accountant
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self‑motivated, self‑starter and able to jump right in
• Collaborative with a team player mindset

This is an on site position and requires applicants to be local to the Arizona area.
