Payroll Specialist

Overview

Vaco is working with a company seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support a high-volume, fast‑paced environment. This is a full‑time opportunity paying up to $32 per hour depending on experience.

• Process and close multiple weekly payrolls
• Collect and import employee time from managers
• Review and resolve timecard discrepancies
• Process certified payroll and ensure compliance
• Track employee advances, deductions, and paybacks
• Maintain payroll records, tax filings, and reports
• Partner with HR, finance, and other teams to ensure accurate employee data
• Handle payroll-related employee questions and support
• Assist with reconciliations and payroll reporting

• 3+ years of payroll experience
• Experience with certified payroll preferred

Salary range: up to $32 per hour depending on experience.
