Junior Accountant (JN - Phoenix, Arizona
Salary: $55,000-$65,000 per year
Overview
Growing organization in the Biltmore area is seeking a Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role offers hands‑on exposure to general ledger, accounts receivable (AR), and billing functions, with opportunity for growth and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) including invoicing, cash applications, and collections follow-up
- Support billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing
- Maintain financial records and ensure data integrity within the accounting system
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (recent grads encouraged to apply)
- Internship or 0–2 years of accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Sage or similar ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel
