To support the accounting department's core functions, the full-time remote Senior Accountant will manage property cost accounting processes, oversee an offshore accounting team, and prepare financial reports while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Key responsibilities:- Design and manage the accounting process for property costs, including reconciliations and expense accruals
- Oversee the daily operations of an offshore accounting team, providing guidance on various financial tasks
- Prepare monthly financial statements and compliance reports for specific funds while analyzing financial discrepancies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- CPA certification preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with Yardi Voyager preferred
- Experience in real estate, preferably in rental property
