Accountant, Financial Reporting

Our client, a stable and nationally recognized organization, is looking to bring on an experienced and driven Accountant to help support their growth.

This individual will partner directly with the company's Controller, providing full-cycle accounting support across multiple business units following a recent regional expansion. This is a hands‑on role for someone who's comfortable moving between AP, AR, and general ledger work without needing much hand‑holding with a lot of potential for growth.

• Support month‑end and year‑end close
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account analysis
• Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job costing transactions for accuracy
• Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for management review
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Partner with operations leaders to keep financial reporting accurate and timely
• Spot process gaps and help build better workflows

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; construction, field service, or multi‑location service‑industry background a plus
• Comfortable owning full‑cycle accounting — not just AP‑only or AR‑only experience
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with an ERP or field‑service accounting platform (e.g., Sage, Service Titan, or similar) a plus
• A self‑starter who picks things up quickly and runs independently
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a growing, fast‑paced environment
