Role OverviewWe are looking for a reliable and hands-on Accountant / Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day finance and administration activities of the business.
This is a practical role suited to someone who is comfortable with bookkeeping, payments, stock checks, basic reporting and general accounting support. The ideal candidate will be organised, accurate, trustworthy and able to work closely with management and the operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting entries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Process supplier payments, invoices and basic reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking.
- Support stock takes and inventory-related reporting.
- Coordinate with operations and sales teams on stock, orders and payment matters.
- Prepare basic financial reports for management review.
- Maintain organised records for invoices, receipts, payments and stock movements.
- Support month-end closing activities where required.
- Assist with general finance administration and ad hoc accounting tasks.
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting or finance administration.
- Comfortable handling payments, invoices, reconciliations and basic financial records.
- Experience with stock takes, inventory records or product-based businesses is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, organised and able to follow processes.
- Practical, hands-on and comfortable working in a growing business environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with different departments.
- Experience in consumer products, health and wellness, supplements, retail, e-commerce or trading businesses would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of accounting software or CRM/ERP systems is preferred.
- Accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records.
- Timely processing of payments and invoices.
- Clear and organised financial documentation.
- Accurate stock take support and inventory reporting.
- Reliable support to management and operations.
- Smooth day-to-day finance administration.
The role reports to senior management and works closely with operations, sales and finance-related stakeholders.
