Accounts Payable​/Receivable Specialist

Commercial Real Estate company looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and have an ability to accurately track and record cash flow. This candidate should have experience in maintaining a database of financial information and be able to recognize and solve any problems that may arise. Lastly, where appropriate this candidate will track 1099s and create a report with related information at year end.

• Receiving, organizing, coding and posting all invoices related to multiple assigned commercial properties
• Research missing or overdue invoices
• Facilitate a weekly check run for each assigned property (run invoice register, print checks, mail)
• Receive, organize, electronically deposit and post all rent checks or ACH transfers
• Assist in annual 1099 preparation
• Accounting related administrative support including scanning and organizing historical company records
• Work cross functionally with various departments

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma/GED
• 1 - 2 years in accounting or related field

• MS Outlook and Office skills (Word & Excel)
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Ability to work productively with others
