AI is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting department. This role will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and helping drive financial accuracy across a complex multi-entity structure.

This position offers the opportunity to work within a rapidly scaling, PE‑backed organization operating at the intersection of energy, technology, finance, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries. Ensure journal entries are supported by proper documentation.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner. Monitor cash activity and assist with cash forecasting support.
- Prepare and maintain monthly reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts. Identify discrepancies and propose corrective entries.
- Assist with preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation. Support external auditors during interim and year‑end audits.
- Assist with identifying and documenting accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with monthly management reporting packages. Prepare variance analysis. Perform ad hoc financial analyses as requested by management.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
- Maintain fixed asset register and oversee capitalization and amortization.
- Support revenue recognition process and contract review.
- Partner with operations, AP/AR, and finance teams to ensure financial accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 3 – 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in multi‑entity or PE‑backed environment strongly preferred
- ERP experience required;
Net Suite strongly preferred - Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
