Job Summary

A prominent manufacturing company in Phoenix is seeking an Accountant. The Accountant is responsible for the monthly close process, general accounting, and inventory management. The Accountant will work closely with the division Controller who is based in Baltimore. This is a high-priority search, salaried in the $110K+ range.

• Leads the monthly accounting close process in a hands‑on and visible way, through close collaboration with the accounting team.
• Manages and reviews the accurate and timely performance of month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end reconciliations for the general accounting organization.
• Ensures financial results are prepared in accordance with GAAP and established accounting policies and procedures.
• Leverages technical accounting knowledge to assess and account for unusual, complex, or infrequent transactions.
