Subcontractor Prequalification Specialist
AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced finance/accounting professional for a Subcontractor Prequalification Specialist position to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.
Job Duties:
- Performs professional level accounting support, related to moderately complex accounting tasks.
- Has a proven ability to apply professional concepts in a productive, consistent manner.
- Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting practices.
- Performs audits and generates special financial reports as needed.
- Works under moderate supervision of daily work.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- BA/BS Accounting/Finance, Business Administration or similar curriculum and 2 years of relevant accounting experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accounting experience from A/E/C strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting
- Experience in project accounting
- Experience with CMIC or COMPASS or other database systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction related contracts.
- Excellent organization and analytical skills
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with MS Office products
- Accounting and or Finance background and experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with subcontractors.
- Basic knowledge of CSI codes and associated scope risk.
- Ability to analyze and present data for the purpose of evaluation by providing basic insights of analytics, identifying red flags or areas needing additional information
