Accounts Payable Specialist (Full Cycle)

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour DOE

We are partnering with a well established organization in Phoenix that is seeking a detail oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This is a high volume, full cycle AP role within a professional corporate environment offering long term stability and an outstanding company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process high volume accounts payable transactions from invoice receipt through payment

* Perform three way matching and verify invoice accuracy

* Review vendor contracts, service agreements, and purchase orders to ensure compliance with payment terms and requirements

* Interpret contract language related to invoicing, billing schedules, pricing, and payment obligations

* Code and enter invoices in SAP

* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

* Manage vendor communications and maintain positive relationships

* Assist with month end close activities, reporting, and account reconciliations

* Review and process expense reports

* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

* Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and AP tracking

Qualifications:

* 3+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience in a high volume environment

* Experience working in SAP required

* Strong Excel skills, including (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)

* Ability to read, interpret, and apply vendor contracts, payment agreements, and purchasing documentation

* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

* Strong communication and problem solving abilities

* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

* Manufacturing or logistics industry experience is highly preferred
