Revenue Accounting Manager

Pay: $120,000 - $135,000/year + benefits below

A publicly traded company headquartered in Phoenix is hiring a Revenue Accounting Manager to run hands-on revenue accounting operations while overseeing the accounting team's day-to-day processes. This role owns GAAP and ASC 606 compliance, drives the month-end close, and partners across the business on revenue-impacting initiatives.

This is a primarily remote role with a predictable onsite cadence. You'll be in the Phoenix office Monday through Friday during month-end and quarter-end close weeks (roughly one week per month, occasionally a bit longer as needed), and remote the rest of the time.

• Perform hands-on revenue accounting and own ASC 606 compliance
• Manage month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Partner with Marketing and Billing Operations on product launches and billing changes
• Lead revenue standardization and system integration projects
• Analyze business changes for revenue implications and prepare technical accounting memos
• Perform financial statement analysis and resolve accounting issues

• 8-10 years of revenue accounting experience, either at a public company or in a Big 4 (or comparable) environment supporting public company clients
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP; ASC 606 experience preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to analyze large datasets and surface trends
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Self-starter who prioritizes well in a fast-paced environment
