Are you a finance leader who thinks like an owner? We're looking for a Director/Controller who brings more than technical accounting chops — someone with real business instincts, a sharp eye for opportunity, and the judgement to help guide a growing company. This role sits at the intersection of numbers and strategy, and it's built for someone who wants to influence how the business actually runs, not just report on it after the fact.

• Lead and develop an Accouting team — hiring, training, and setting priorities that support the bigger picture
• Drive the month-end close process from start to finish
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that leadership can actually act on
• Deliver ad hoc reporting and business insights that go beyond the numbers to inform real decisions
• Partner with our third-party tax preparers and lead annual audit efforts
• Act as a trusted, business-minded advisor to owners and the president — someone who brings solutions, not just problems
• Support owners with personal financial record-keeping and payments

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 3+ years in a management or leadership role
• Full-cycle accounting expertise with a strong grasp of GAAP, tax, and audit fundamentals
• An entrepreneurial mindset — you spot risks and opportunities, and you're comfortable making judgment calls
• Business acumen that goes beyond the ledger: you understand how financial decisions impact growth, cash flow, and strategy
• Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills; comfortable in Word and Outlook
• Sharp analytical mind, confident communicator, highly organized
• CPA preferred, not required
