Accounting Operations Supervisor

I'm hiring for my client, a growing organization looking for an Accounting Operations Supervisor to lead financial close systems, drive process improvements, and strengthen internal controls. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys combining accounting expertise with technology, automation, and continuous improvement.

• Serve as the primary owner of the company's financial close and reconciliation platform, including administration, reporting, user access, and workflow optimization.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, IT, and Audit teams to streamline processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and audit readiness.
• Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and key accounting processes.
• Help maintain a strong internal control environment and support compliance initiatives.
• Lead and mentor a small accounting team while helping elevate processes and performance.
• Drive operational improvements that reduce manual effort and improve visibility across the close cycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting, accounting systems, or financial operations experience.
• Experience with financial close, reconciliations, internal controls, and process improvement.
• Background working with ERP systems and close management or reconciliation software preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to collaborate across both finance and technology teams.
