Senior Accountant

$105,000-$115,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Phoenix, AZ (Remote, must live in Arizona)

• Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process through preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze account activity and financial variances, investigate discrepancies, and provide meaningful insights to accounting leadership.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple balance sheet and income statement accounts while ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including AP, payroll, inventory, and operations, to gather information, resolve issues, and support accounting initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain audit‑ready documentation, work papers, and financial support for internal and external audit requests.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and support a scalable accounting function.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required)
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, and month‑end close processes (Required)
• Public company experience (Preferred)
• Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial schedules, and supporting accurate financial reporting (Required).
• Experience supporting audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements (Preferred).
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Net Suite (Preferred).
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA (Preferred).
