Senior Accounting Manager

$130,000 - $145,000 base salary (depending on experience)

Vaco has partnered with a growing publicly traded organization to hire a Senior Accounting Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead the record-to-report function while partnering closely with accounting leadership to support financial reporting, audit readiness, and process improvements. • Strengthen internal controls, policies, procedures, and audit readiness across the organization
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reporting quality, and operational efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience required
• Prior experience leading close, reconciliations, audits, and financial reporting processes required
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and general ledger accounting required

• CPA preferred
• Public company, SOX, or audit firm experience preferred
• Net Suite or Flo Qast experience preferred
• Manufacturing, technology, or inventory-related industry experience preferred
