Vaco is seeking an Accounting Manager in North Phoenix, AZ

- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and performance feedback
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency
- 5+ years of experience including leadership (required)
- Degree in Finance or Accounting (required)
- Ability to own the month end close process
- Ability to go on site 5 days a week
- Salary $110-120k
