Tax Senior

Location: Phoenix, AZ (in-person) |
Schedule: Full-time, on-site |
Compensation: Up to $120K depending on experience

A growing boutique CPA firm is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join its team, with a clear path to a manager-level role. This position offers the opportunity to handle a broad range of tax and accounting responsibilities while working closely with clients and firm leadership.

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Prepare tax extensions
• Conduct year-end tax projections
• Perform tax research
• Generate trial balances and financial statements
• Respond to IRS and other taxing authority notices
• Proactively communicate with clients to gather information and provide tax and financial feedback
• Support financial statement reviews and compilations

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• CPA or CPA Candidate
• 3-5 years of tax experience in a CPA firm
• Experience with financial statement review and compilations
• Proficiency in general and accounting-related computer software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with other members of the firm
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize

• Salary up to $120K depending on experience level
