Tax Senior

Company Overview:

A leading accounting firm with a diverse client base is seeking a Tax Senior to join their team. This role involves supporting client engagements and developing associates while balancing tax compliance and planning.

• Collaborate with managers and partners to support the planning, execution, and delivery of client engagements
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Prepare and review quarterly tax estimates and projections
• Research complex tax issues and document conclusions supported by relevant tax law and guidance
• Identify tax planning opportunities and contribute to developing tax-efficient strategies for clients
• Participate in client meetings, including discussions related to tax strategy and planning
• Respond to notices and assist with audits and other inquiries from taxing authorities
• Review work prepared by associates and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Support the development of junior team members through mentorship and day-to-day guidance
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
• Stay current on tax law changes and evaluate their impact on clients
• Assist with international tax matters as needed

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• 4-6 years of relevant tax experience, including preparation of Forms 1040, 1120, and 1065, as well as state tax returns
• Multi-state tax experience
• CPA license or actively pursuing licensure
• Proficiency with Ultra Tax, Engagement Manager, Practice CS, Co Counsel, Quick Books, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000, Plus Bonus
