We are seeking an experienced Regional Financial Consultant (RFC) to provide financial and business office leadership across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the Phoenix market.
This role is ideal for an experienced SNF financial professional who understands the complexities of multi-facility business office operations, accounts receivable, collections, Medicaid pending, billing, and revenue cycle performance. The RFC will work closely with facility Business Office Managers and leadership teams to strengthen financial processes, resolve issues, and improve overall performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide financial oversight and operational support across multiple skilled nursing facilities.
Support, train, and hold facility Business Office Managers accountable for financial performance and established processes.
Monitor accounts receivable, cash collections, aging, Medicaid pending, private pay, denials, and other key financial indicators.
Identify outstanding accounts and financial barriers and develop action plans to improve collections.
Conduct regular on‑site reviews of facility business office operations.
Assist Business Office Managers with complex billing, collections, resident financial, and payer‑related issues.
Review financial performance and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Partner with facility leadership, Admissions, Revenue Cycle, and corporate Finance teams.
Help ensure consistent financial processes and expectations across assigned facilities.
Provide hands‑on support, training, and problem resolution at the facility level.
QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of experience as an RFC or in a comparable regional financial leadership role overseeing multiple skilled nursing facilities.
Strong skilled nursing facility (SNF) financial operations and revenue cycle experience required.
Experience supporting multiple facilities and Business Office Managers.
Strong knowledge of A/R management, collections, Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, private pay, and Medicaid‑pending processes.
Ability to analyze financial performance and develop actionable solutions.
Strong leadership, communication, training, and problem‑solving skills.
Location & Travel RequirementsMust currently reside in Arizona.
No out‑of‑state candidates will be considered.
Must be able to work on‑site 4–5 days per week at assigned Phoenix‑area facilities.
Regular travel between assigned facilities is required.
Compensation$110,000–$130,000 annually
