The Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC) is seeking an Administrative Assistant 3 who will be responsible for performing a variety of complex administrative tasks and provide administrative support to the Deputy Director and Assistant Deputy Director and indirect support to the Director. This position will serve as an administrative assistant to staff members in the Director's Office and will provide project management assistance to the Deputy Director and Deputy Assistant Director.
Job DutiesProvide administrative support to the Director's Office, specifically by answering telephones, providing general office coverage, and conducting general office duties. Assist agency staff and visitors with general inquiries.
Complete and manage simple and complex special projects as assigned by the Director's Office leadership team, including acting as the agency Badge Coordinator.
Manage the procurement duties for the bureaus located in the Central Office through the state procurement system; monitor office supply inventory and initiate procurement of such items.
Coordinate and maintain calendar(s) as appropriate, scheduling meetings and appointments for the Deputy Director and Deputy Assistant Director.
Perform a range of organizational functions to include maintaining accurate electronic and "hard copy" files and records; monitor progress of Executive Team projects; and prepare/update organizational charts.

Three years of responsible administrative experience and/or a bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the assignment.
