Spang & Company, operating globally in the US and China, is hiring an Administrative Assistant for its Phoenix, AZ (West Valley) locations. This position will be responsible for covering front office duties, supporting the manufacturing and warehouse operations, and assisting human resources in a range of duties at our two locations in the Phoenix area. Candidates must be able to travel to each site as needed.
Primary responsibilities for this position include handling front office duties and interacting professionally with visitors. The Administrative Assistant will support Human Resources by assisting with onsite interviews, verifying completion of application paperwork, administering testing for candidates, helping with onboarding paperwork for new hires, collecting employee paperwork as needed, and providing general support to the HR team for various tasks. Additional duties involve organizing, recording, and filing manufacturing, engineering, compliance, and safety records;
entering requisitions for supplies and receiving them from vendors; coordinating with outside services as directed; and assisting the shipping and manufacturing departments.
Qualifications include an associate’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related area, or equivalent work experience. At least two years of office experience is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
