Operations Specialist – Roofing Company Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our roofing company. This role plays a key part in keeping projects, scheduling, communication, and administrative processes running smoothly between customers, crews, sales representatives, and management.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable handling both administrative and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support daily roofing operations and project workflows

  • Schedule appointments, inspections, installations, and service calls

  • Communicate with customers regarding project updates, scheduling, and documentation

  • Assist sales and production teams with administrative support

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and company systems

  • Track project progress, job statuses, and production timelines

  • Process contracts, invoices, permits, and other operational documents

  • Support material ordering and vendor coordination as needed

  • Handle inbound and outbound phone calls and emails professionally

  • Assist with resolving customer concerns and operational issues

  • Ensure internal communication between departments remains organized and efficient

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in operations, administrative support, customer service, or construction-related industries preferred

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or scheduling software

  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Roofing, construction, or home services experience is a plus
