Job DescriptionSeeking a hard-working, responsible, organized, and ethical administrative assistant to join our team. If you are willing to work, have a good attitude, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, work well with others, and are familiar with the basics of Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel), we invite you to apply. PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Interacting with current/potential clients, various agencies, offices, and court staff
- Answering the phone, making calls, returning calls
- Covering the Receptionist duties when asked
- Scheduling appointments
- Drafting and responding to emails and letters
- Mailing correspondence and calculating postage
- Handling and safeguarding confidential records professionally and responsibly
- Scanning, filing, photocopying, and faxing documents
- Tracking and organizing activities in our practice management software
- Recording and storing client information in the Practice Master database
- Court filings and errands (e.g., Post Office, Courthouse, etc.)
- Light to moderate lifting
- Ability to follow up on tasks, calendaring, and court hearings
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
