Overview

The Logistics Administrative Assistant facilitates the flow of information and customer sales orders between the Chadwell Supply Corporate office, customers, sales personnel, warehouse employees, branch delivery drivers, and the branch logistic manager.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in computer operation
  • Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (BA or higher preferred)
  • Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls from sales personnel, customers, branch personnel, and corporate department employees
  • Assist with the branch work order flow by monitoring sales order queues and customer order paper flow to ensure timely product delivery
  • Assist with printing customer orders, pick tickets, delivery tickets, and corrected reprinted work orders
  • Handle credit card transactions and customer check deposit creation
  • Create will call and employee sales orders, including invoicing, as needed
  • File, scan, and record important daily documents related to sales orders and safety training
  • Review daily delivery driver tickets to ensure customer invoicing and delivery
  • Print reports for branch delivery drivers and delivery management
  • Perform data entry processes in company operating systems such as Great Plains and Sales Pad
  • Assist with telecommunication for incoming calls to ensure communication and issue resolution
  • Respond to and follow up on emails within 4 hours
  • Audit and monitor Sales Pad queues for correct order statuses
  • Scan customer order PODs into invoiced orders
  • Invoice orders in the operating system as needed
  • File completed Haz Mat shipping paperwork
  • Assist with updating Delivery Driver certifications
  • Review and verify all Delivery Driver manifests for cleanliness
  • Assist with phone calls and messaging with sales personnel and customers
  • Schedule, monitor, and document branch vendor pick‑ups
  • Create sales orders for will call customers
  • Assist the Branch Warehouse Admin and Receiving Admin as needed
