Support and coordinate the day‑to‑day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities for the JD Admissions Office, including recruitment events, applicant counseling, and office operations. Report to the Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid.
Salary Range$50,000 - $55,000 per year; DOE.
Essential Duties- Develop and implement effective recruitment initiatives and programs.
- Serve as a liaison with students, faculty, staff, and alumni to facilitate admissions programs.
- Communicate information about all aspects of the College of Law, including presentations, resources, and information sessions.
- Organize and execute programs for admitted students and prospective student events, including virtual or off‑site events, occasional evenings and weekends.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications with prospective and admitted students via email, telephone, video/Zoom, in person, and social media platforms.
- Coordinate and schedule group visits.
- Evaluate applicant files and make recommendations.
- Track purchases and expenditures, prepare financial documentation, and process travel and event reimbursements and credit card expenses.
- Maintain and manage software systems, forms, and records related to recruitment events and application information, and assist with data inquiries.
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, document processing, and event material preparation.
- Collaborate with the admissions and financial aid team to meet recruitment goals and perform related tasks in operations and compliance.
- Provide physical presence at the College of Law as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
Associate’s degree and one (1) year of experience relevant to the assignment, or an equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.

- Experience in higher education.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Evidence of effective communication skills; public speaking experience preferred.
- Advising or customer service experience.
- Experience with budgetary tracking and reconciliation.
- Experience working with varied populations.
- Experience with confidential information or files.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Salesforce, Unite/admissions software, Concur, and/or event software.
- Collaborative, proactive, adaptable, and pragmatic.
- Ability to quickly change priorities, resolve conflicts, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Clear communication skills to perform essential functions.
- Work performed in an environmentally controlled office setting, requiring extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and computer use.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds.
- Use of standard office equipment such as computer, printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone, and related peripherals.
- Some travel may be required.
