Graduate Intern
The Graduate Intern partners with an assigned department to gain hands-on experience, deepen functional knowledge, and develop career-relevant skills aligned with their field of study. This role provides meaningful exposure to organizational practices, processes, and projects while contributing to departmental goals through research, analysis, and operational support.
The Graduate Intern will support a variety of initiatives and projects, working collaboratively with team members to build practical experience and enhance professional competencies applicable to their academic and career objectives.
Essential functions include developing and applying knowledge through exposure to various functional areas, actively participating in team initiatives, conducting research, providing administrative and operational support, collaborating with cross-functional teams, engaging in learning opportunities, maintaining effective communication, and performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications require being currently enrolled in an accredited college/graduate-level program with coursework related to the internship opportunity, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills, and having general knowledge related to the department/unit/area of study. Preferred qualifications include proficiency with commonly used office software and personal computers.
Physical demands include extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking, lifting up to 20 pounds, significant use of computer, phone, and general office equipment, adequate visual acuity, ability to grasp and handle objects, and effective communication through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone.
