  • Answering and directing incoming telephone calls, retrieving voice mail messages, taking messages or providing information; and placing outbound calls.
  • Welcoming on-site visitors, determining nature of business and announcing visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Updating appointment calendars.
  • Receiving, sorting and routing mail.
  • Maintaining and routing publications.
  • Maintaining fax machines, assisting users, sending faxes, and retrieving and routing incoming faxes.

As a Receptionist you must be able to manage competing demands, meet deadlines and adapt to changes in the work environment including delays or unexpected events.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1‑3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
  • Experience in office procedures and related clerical duties, preferred.
  • Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to stay calm and respectful and maintain professionalism in all situations.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
  • Must have valid AZ Drivers License
