The Department of Economic Security (DES), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Triage Administrative Assistant
3. This position provides high-level administrative support services to management and coordinates with AHCCCS, QA Manager, QM Administrator, Medical Director, QA Specialist, and District ALTCS/QA Staff regarding Quality of Care Concerns. This position also assists the Medical Director with Mortality review. DDD provides services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families that are flexible, high-quality, and member-driven, promoting independent decision-making and community engagement.
Applicants for this position must meet applicable licensing and vendor restrictions as defined by the DDD Office of Licensing, Certification and Regulation and related vendor agreements.
Job DutiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Knowledge in:
- ACCESS and EXCEL for database management and data extraction to create tables and charts.
- Understanding of Quality Management concepts.
- Knowledge of administration, management principles, program rules, regulations, and operating procedures.
Skills In:
- Ability to manage a large, complex workload with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good oral and written communication and listening skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
Ability to:
- Plan and coordinate activities, analyze and establish priorities.
- Develop effective operating procedures.
The preferred/ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Three years of responsible administrative experience, or a bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the assignment from an accredited college or university, and two years of responsible administrative experience.
