800 Superior Court About the Position The Program Coordinator serves as the Judicial Branch’s ADA Title II Coordinator and is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the Judicial Branch’s accessibility and reasonable accommodation program under the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”). The position coordinates accommodation requests from members of the public; develops procedures, forms, guidance, and training; provides technical assistance to Judicial Branch personnel;

monitors program effectiveness; and recommends improvements that promote meaningful access to Judicial Branch services, programs, activities, and facilities.

The position also coordinates related compliance and administrative functions within the Office of General Counsel, including public records administration, litigation holds and records preservation, Judicial Branch policy administration and lifecycle management, conflict of interest and secondary employment processes, and liaison activities with internal departments and external agencies. The position works independently on complex and sensitive matters requiring sound judgment, discretion, organization, and effective communication with individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, court administration, disability or accessibility services, compliance, social sciences, justice studies, or another field related to the program areas.

Qualifications:

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered in substitution for the minimum qualifications.

Our Preferred Candidate Has:

Experience coordinating a specialized program, compliance function, accessibility program, or other cross-departmental administrative program.

Experience working in a court, governmental, public-sector, or other legal environment.

Experience with ADA Title II, disability access, reasonable accommodations, or accessibility initiatives.

Experience developing, administering, reviewing, or maintaining organizational policies and procedures, including use of policy-management, workflow, records-management, or document-control systems.
