Pay Range Anticipated Hiring Pay Range: $21.25 - $27.88 hourly Full Pay Range: $21.25 - $34.50 hourly Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. A higher wage would only be offered based on direct court-related or legal experience (i.e. such as that with a law firm). Additional questions regarding pay can be discussed with HR during the hiring process if you are offered a position.

The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

About the Position

Take the lead and become our Court Operations Specialist Senior! As the Court Operations Specialist Senior you’ll be responsible for all administrative and clerical duties related to creating, processing, and retaining records related to Grand Jury proceedings as well as providing access to the judicial system and related public records to the public, the legal community, Courts, County, and other governmental agencies so that they can pursue legal processes and/or obtain and maintain legal and financial records and information.

Provide your community with access to justice today! This position has the opportunity for a flexible/hybrid schedule after training is completed and will be in our Grand Jury Division. This position is open to current Maricopa County employees. Judicial Branch (i.e., Adult and Juvenile Probation and Superior Court) employees will not be considered as qualified for this opportunity.

Requirements

We Require Three years of experience with at least one year in Customer Service, and two years in Clerical/Administrative OR Two years at Clerk of the Superior Court as a Justice System Clerk or higher High School Diploma or GED A combination of post‑secondary education and/or job‑related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year‑for‑year basis

Job Contributions
  • Attend and create a record of all sessions of Grand Jury proceedings when a Judicial officer is present
  • Process and maintain the confidentiality of all closed (pending) Grand Jury cases
  • Prepare administrative paperwork for the empanelment and orientation of the jurors
