Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

High school diploma or GEDA combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

We Also Value Experience working in other county or municipal permit-issuing environments

Job Contributions Review incoming applications for completeness and apply MCDOT permitting regulations and procedures

Advise applicants on permit approvals and progress of applications. while providing quality customer service

Coordinate reviews with all internal department disciplines

Process customer permit fees and extension requests

Establish and maintain customer data and enter information into databases

Research, collect, and analyze data as assigned

Other job duties as assigned

Working Conditions Exerting up to 20 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently, or negligible amounts constantly, or requires walking or standing to a significant degree

Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
