About This Position
The Water Services department is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Administrative Assistant II to support our Internal Business Support Division
. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a meaningful impact through administrative leadership.
- Support division leadership with high-level administrative functions.
- Manage budgets, draft reports, and assist with policy development.
- Conduct research and analyze operational procedures.
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects and problem-solving efforts.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to staff and the public.
- Develop and implement process improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
- Experience with budgeting, operating procedure development, and administrative research.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to individuals, small groups, and leadership.
- Knowledge of procurement process and contract monitoring.
- Strong organizational and task management skills.
- Proficient in developing presentations and professional writing.

Pay Range: $67,516.80 to $ annually.
Hiring Range: $67,516.80 to $99,736.00 annually.
Pay Range Explanation- Pay range is the entire compensation range for the position classification.
- Hiring range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.
- Promotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade increase.
- Demotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade decrease.
- Lateral transfers occur when there is no change to the last two digits of the pay grade.
